It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his passions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
(Lamentations 3:22-23)
Greetings to the Household of Faith! We can give God thanks for favor and His continual blessings that have been showered upon us. What an awesome time we have had with such a presence of God in our services. Last week I believe many had a spiritual breakthrough understanding the need for the word of a ‘greater’ power in their lives! I received so many positive comments and I know this is the “Year of HAPPY!”
Today represents our sixth anniversary of being called to pastor the New Bethel Church in Kansas City, Kansas; and I want to express my thanks for everyone who has supported our leadership and ministry! In these past six years we have had to face some challenges, but I thank God for every victory He allowed us to experience for the cause of Christ! In coming to Kansas City I left over fifty (50) years of memories, friends & relationships in the place that I was both naturally and spiritually born. But I can certainly declare that the Lord has been faithful! As the Lord instructed Abram, “…Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you,” (Gen 12:1 NKJV), I too have made that journey & walk of faith! And now Kansas City is home with new memories, friends & relationships.
In these past six years at Bethel, God have truly given Angela and I favor, for which I am eternally grateful. Yes, there have been long hours, much sacrifice and even some discouraging moments — but to God be the glory! The church membership has come together with such a spirit of unity & togetherness that is reflected by the love and move of God in our services. And look what God has done! Just consider that the membership has grown to the point where out of necessity we had to incorporate two worship services on Sunday to meet the need. We must build a new worship center! With the many projects of our Community Outreach Ministry and our Community Development Corporation, the ministry is making inroads and causing an indelible impression on this community; and I know we are also making an impact in the lives of so many. New Bethel is “A Pentecostal Community of Apostolic Believers… A Church Controlled by the Spirit!” We’ve seen the miraculous and know that now “It’s Bethel to the Fifth Dimension!”
Angela and I, along with our daughters Amaris & Alexis, are so blessed and grateful that the New Bethel family has embraced us in love and support. We request your continual prayers and we love you all! I remain,
The Master’s Vessel,
Pastor A. Glenn Brady
