“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…”
(St. John 3:16)
Greetings and blessings to the Household of Faith! I want to thank all those who participated in providing items to “Celebrate the Giving!” It was such a huge success as New Bethel was able to assist hundreds in this holiday give-a-way. To hear the testimonies of so many who expressed their thanks and indicated that they would not have been able to provide anything for their loved ones, except for what we offered, made this a blessed event. Certainly, we can celebrate the ability to give!
As we celebrate Christmas this week, let us not forget the real meaning and purpose Christmas! It’s not about the tinsel & toys, the tree & family meal, the eggnog & rum cake…it’s about the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…” (St. John 3:16) This week is about CHRISTMAS LOVE!
Be blessed and remember, this is the year of… “Greater!” From the Brady Bunch, we wish you a wonderful & blessed Christmas holiday! Love to you all….

The Christmas Story
by Leanne Guenther
Once upon a time,
A long, long time ago.
Begins the story of a baby,
That most of you should know.
His daddy’s name was Joseph,
And Mary was His mom,
This babe was very special
He was God’s only Son.
Some angels came from heaven,
And they began to sing.
To the shepherds in the fields below,
”Glad tidings do we bring!”
A bright star lit the heavens,
To light the magi’s way,
To the baby in the manger
Who was born on Christmas day.
And all who gathered round Him,
Rejoiced and praised His birth.
For the babe, the King, named Jesus,
Is our Saviour here on earth!
