“But we all… are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
(2 Corinthians 3:18)
Greetings & blessings to the Bethel Family! We certainly are in awe by the impacting services we have had for the last few weeks. I’m sure you, like me, are still feasting from the spring consecration! We were blessed to have seen and experienced another mighty move of God here last week for Resurrection Sunday! We went from “The Power of a Lifted Jesus” to “The Power of His Resurrection!” Then we were challenged, “Do You Really Believe?” We can say like Peter on the mount of transfiguration, “Master, it is good for us to be here…” (Mark 9:5) I believe a transformation has taken place in our lives. We are now walking in the joy of the morning! I introduced the new lesson this past Wednesday during our LIFE Impact Bible study, “Walking in the Rain!” I feel we are now in a Season of Blessings! Don’t let anything hinder you from receiving all that God has YOU!
I’ve shared previously about “epic moves of God” or “God Moments!” These were instances of divine visitation, where God would show up and a supernatural download (or empowering) takes place. We have seen this happen many times and recently had this experience during our spring consecration, especially during our Feet Washing service. Without a doubt, we can declare the favor of God has been showered upon us!
The scripture declares, “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5) However, you cannot rest on the experiences of the past few weeks to determine your relationship with God for the future! Yes… you had a great time in God! Yes… it was an awesome move of God! Yes… the blessings of the Lord are happening! But now you must go “FROM GLORY TO GLORY!” As the Apostle Paul declared to the saints in Corinth, “But we all, with open face beholding as a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 3:18) There is so much more in God that you and I must experience. And I’m hungry to receive all that God has for me!
Please note that this month we are initiating a change with publishing our Sunday morning bulletins. Instead of each week, the church Sunday bulletins will now be distributed bi-weekly (every other Sunday.) That means you need to keep your bulletin for the following Sunday. I’m sure for some this will be an adjustment, but we’re moving to better serve the congregation.
Finally, remember that this is “The Year of Performance!” Now is the time to perform! Be blessed and know my prayers are with you.
