Greetings to the Household of Faith! We can give God thanks for favor and His continual blessings that have been showered upon us. What awesome services we had last week! God’s presence was so impacting through the early morning service message, “There’s Something About Mary!” (preached by Elder Andre Burns) and then what a move at the altar in the mid-morning service, “Have You Received the Holy Ghost… Since You Believed!”  I thank God for those that were baptized and received the Holy Spirit, becoming members of New Bethel! I employ you to invite and bring someone with you to service so that others can be blessed.   

This new month of March marks the traditional beginning of the “spring” season. As the new season of spring officially comes upon us later this month, we normally associate any seasonal change to a shift! Soon we’ll be moving our clocks forward an hour (March 12th) for daylight savings time. The days are becoming longer and soon we’ll see the leaves returning to the trees, flowers will begin to bloom, the weather is warmer, and yes we must start cutting the grass. Yes, a shift is happening.

But I also sense a “spiritual shifting” for New Bethel is happening. We’ve heard the many messages dealing with a change that is happening… now! Even though Satan has been challenging and maybe you can’t see with the natural eye what is happening, I can feel the shift is happening! I want to challenge you to move your faith for greater expectations of God’s miraculous hand. I feel a shift for the blessings of God! It has been declared that we’re going to experience an ‘abundance of God’s divine performance’ and He’s already working!

This is “The Year of Abundance” and God sent His Word that declares, “The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouses of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands…” (Deut. 28:12 NIV) The Lord also declared,  “….Prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” (Malachi 3:10) But remember, as we were reminded in last week’s message, the blessings of God will only occur with your faith & obedience to the direction of God for your life!

Now is the time to put in action what you’ve been destined for since the beginning of time. Dare to take the risk! There’s a Shift is Happening!  Be blessed and know that abundance is here!
