March 8th at 7 PM – “Loving God”
Focus Scriptures: Mark 12:29-33; Revelation 2:1-7; John 14:15; 1 John 5:3 / Discover what scripture reveals about prioritizing our love for God, our first love, and how we can recommit to loving God through relationship, repentance, and obedience.

March 15th at 7 PM – “Loving Yourself”
Focus Scriptures: Mark 12:29-33; Matthew 22:39; Ephesians 5:28-30 / Taking a closer look at God’s word, we cannot miss how important self-love is as it relates to then loving others. Jesus commanded to love one’s neighbor as oneself.

March 22nd at 7 PM – “Loving Others”
Focus Scriptures: Mark 12:29-33; John 15:12; I John 4:7-21 / As brothers and sisters in Christ, it’s important for us to share God’s love. Not just in word but in deed and in truth. Jesus commanded that we love others as He has loved us.

March 29th at 7PM – “Love vs. Lust” – Let’s Talk About Sensual Love”
Focus Scriptures: Mark 12:29-33; 1 John 2:15-17; 1 Corinthians 6:15-20 / This panel discussion deals with “sensual love” also known as “erotic love” in the Greek. We’ve heard the saying, “What’s Love Got to Do With It?”, but what is the Godly stance on managing our bodily inclinations and sensual emotions? Get ready for real, but much needed conversation.

*April 5th – “So Loved” John 3:16  / Special In-Person Service at The New Bethel Church with 7 Last Sayings of Jesus from the Cross” surrounding the theme #SoLoved – AGAPE. Service will begin at 6:45 PM

April 12th at 7 PM – “Abundant Love”
Focus Scriptures: Mark 12:33-39; John 21; I John 3:11-23 / At the conclusion of this series, we will reflect on the series and prepare to launch God’s love beyond the church walls. We will show compassion = God’s love in action throughout the KC Metro Area and beyond.

March 18th, 2023 – Sunday School at Washington Heights
Time: 12 noon-1:00 pm
We will use God’s Word for Life Sunday School Commentary. Those desirous of attending can reach out to Elder Mary Green at mary.green@newbethelkc.org. Seniors, ministers, and Sunday School lovers are highly encouraged to be involved.

March 19th – In-Person Sunday School in NBC Chapel
Time: 9 am-9:40 am
Sunday School Lesson – “The Father is Waiting” ; Luke 15:11-32 / Truth About God: God loves the prodigals and waits patiently for their return. Truth for My Life: All who wander can return to their loving, heavenly Father.

March 20th at 7 PM – NBC Ministerial Alliance Session – “21st Century Evangelism”

March 19th – In-Person Sunday School in NBC Chapel
