“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
(Galatians 6:9)
Greetings and blessings to the Household of Faith! I thank God for His favor because certainly we know that God has showered us with His multiple blessings! The scripture declares, “… And I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.” (Ezekiel 34:26) I want to thank everyone for the well-wishes and expressions of love that was shown to me for my birthday. I truly appreciate every gift, every card, and every act of kindness. Also, I appreciate everyone who is assisted with our “Celebrate Life & Good Health” event. It was an overwhelming success as the ministry was able to provide meals, groceries, and health check-ups for hundreds in the community. This is what we are about!
I’m praying that everyone enjoy a blessed Thanksgiving holiday with family & friends. The entire week is dedicated to spending quality time with your loved ones. And please take the time to reflect back and thank God for all that He has done for you. It has only been because of our God’s mercy & grace that was extended to us, that we are here today. For that I love and adore Him! And I know in my spirit that greater is coming! Even though we are nearing the end of the year, remember this is “The Year of Abundance!”
All of us at one time or another has received a promise. We took confidence and trust, based on the person who made the promise to us, it will come to pass. Unfortunately, how many times did that promise end in disappointment. After counting and depending on the person to deliver the promise, for whatever reason, it was not fulfilled. But thank God we serve a faithful God! The scripture declares, “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations…” (Deuteronomy 7:9 NIV) We have the confidence of knowing that God will keep every promise He makes! Through the Word we understand that God cannot lie! “If God said it… it must come to pass!”
So if it ever appears to you that the promise of God is not coming, just wait for it! Keep holding on and believing what God declared. We are in the season of blessing! Don’t get tired… don’t get weary… for in due season [or the appointed time] we will receive the promise! Expect it today! God will keep His word!
So much more is being planned here at Bethel for the remainder of this year and I’m excited about what God has shared with me for 2016! I’m telling you, God is preparing us to do ‘great exploits’ and for an abundance of blessings that’s coming our way! Lady Angela and I love you all. Be blessed!
