Join us at The M.O.M.S. Tour (Maternal Outcomes Matter Shower) on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at New Bethel Church, 745 Walker Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66101, from 3:00pm – 5:00pm CST. This Community Baby Shower Tour is specifically designed to support expectant mothers and moms & dads with children under two years old in communities facing high maternal mortality and morbidity rates.
At The M.O.M.S. & D.A.D.S Tour, we are dedicated to providing you with more than just baby resources. You’ll have access to educational information, essential health-related services, free giveaways, and nutritious food to nourish both you and your little ones. We’ve also prepared exciting activities for kids and dads to enjoy!

Doula Certification
Have you considered becoming a Doula? Are you a MOMbasador passionate about improving outcomes for Black moms? Doulas help ensure moms (and dads) have what they need during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. Data shows that doulas are beneficial, especially in our Black and Brown ⁸As a part of the national initiative, The MOMS Tour, led by The Department of HHS Partnership Center:
>Cocolife.black is offering scholarships (just a $50 certification fee to start) for the CocoLife Doula Training & Certification Program for current doulas or those interested in becoming doulas.
>We have flexible start dates, schedules, and virtual, so you can join no matter where you are in the country.
>Our training provides evidence-based information that is not only culturally congruent, compassionate, and Trauma-informed but also Resilience-oriented.
>You’ll learn how to support moms and dads during this special time while learning to build your business and community with other birth workers.
