We invite you to the Selah Enlightenment Conference on May 16-19 at the New Bethel Church. The theme is, “Faith for an Uncomfortable Assignment”

Isaiah 6:8 (NKJV) “Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying: Whom shall I send, And who go for Us? Then I said, Here am I! Send me.”

We often talk about the challenge of leaving one’s comfort zone; however, there are instances when we are given a ‘divine assignment’ for the fulfillment of a God-given directive. And when given that assignment we can find multiple reasons why we are unable to perform the task. Sometimes we feel inadequate or unprepared (like Moses), or we don’t like the assignment we are given (like Jonah), or we have something more important that is a priority (like the person who refused the invitation to come to the King’s supper, because he just got married), or for whatever the reason you declare, “I can’t do it.” That’s when we need…  “Faith for an Uncomfortable Assignment!!”

During this season of Selah (to reflect, to assess, to retool), we must position ourselves to know, “what is the Lord saying to me,” and “what does He want me to do!”

The speakers for this conference can relate personally to our theme, and share their special story; as well as provide principles and instructions to help us “build our faith” (Jude 1:20) that even when given an uncomfortable assignment, we are willing to do it! “Here am I… Send Me!”

Registration Details

Registration for the sessions on Saturday, May 18th is $30. Registration includes lunch and all conference materials. Registration will be available online and in-person starting Sunday, April 7th. Online registration will end Thursday, May 16th at 12 PM. If you would like to confirm your attendance after online registration is closed, please email, events@newbethelkc.org.
